A Day Tour to Shivapuri

Nepal Buddhism TourNature House Treks and Expedition organizes a Day Tour to Shivapuri National Park Hiking including Tokha hill view point trekking. The Shivapuri National Park is a reserved forest used to be owned by the then Royal family and now handed over to public and the main forest is under control by Nepal Forest Ministry the Forest department. The forest compiles with different kinds of flora and fauna mainly pine, oak and rhododendron. In the national part different kind of wild animals and birds are found such as deer, leopard, wild boars, macaques, porcupine, pangolins and different kinds of species of birds. The landscape of National park is slope uphill from the top of hill the mountain range of Langtang can be seen including some peaks over 7000mt height. Moreover the spectacular landscapes of Nuwakot district are seen clearly. Similarly from Tokha view point, the whole beautiful Kathmandu city and heritage sites are seen.

Day Tour Itinerary

1:9:00 AM- 1 hour bus drive from Kathmandu to Kaule
2:10:00 AM- Start Hiking to Kakani, Thai Air Memorial Park view Point.
3:12:30PM- Hiking from Thai Air Memorial Park to Shivapuri View Point (Lunch)
4:02:30PM-Hike Down to Shivapurin View Point to Tokha View Point.
04:00 PM- Tokha View Point to Budhanilakantha sleeping Statue of Bishnu.
05:05:30 PM 30 Minutes drive Back to Kathmandu from Budhanilakantha
