The beautiful inhabited and farmed valleys stretched for unlimited distance. Grazing uncountable livestock such as Yaks, sheep, mountain goats are another major attraction of a tour. Many cities and villages with beautiful houses are distributed in place to place, hanging prayer flags in small to giant monasteries in each village. Trip day to day itinerary

Here is a tour itinerary which is described as a sample. We would be more than glad to produce any itinerary as per our respecting client’s requirement. There are many options regarding tour itinerary, basically the sample itinerary is based on entering Tibet via Nepal. If your plan is different than it then please do let us know. Day 01: Kathmandu (1,300M) to Tibetan Border Town Zhangmu (2,300M)/Nyalam (3700M): 126KM

Morning you will be driving from Kathmandu toward Tibet border (4 hours) with the scenic view of beautiful countryside. After doing required immigration formalities at Tibetan Boarder, meeting with Tibetan Guide then having lunch at Zangmu, then drive two hours to Nyalam located at 3700M altitude. Staying overnight at Nyalam.

Day 02: Nyalam – Xegar (4300M): 252KM - Shigatse (3,950M): 224KM
After having breakfast in morning, continue drive to Xegar via La Lung La Pass (5100M) the spectacular view of Mount Xisapangma (8,212M) and Mount Cho- Oyu (8,201M) can be seen, then continue journey to Xegar. Having lunch at Lhatse then continue drive to Xigatse the second largest city of Tibet where staying overnight.

Day 03: Shigatse (3,950M): 224KM - Gyantse (3,950M): 90KM

After breakfast visiting Panchen Lama’s Tashilompo Monastery in Sigatse then driving toward Gyantse, visit Khumbula Stupa and Phalkhor Monastery then free time to explore city.

Day 04:Gyantse (3,950M) Lhasa (3,650M):261KM

After breakfast drive to Lhasa via by doing sightseeing at holy lake Yamdrok lake, crossing Karo La Pass (5045M) from where the spectacular mountain view can be seen and a huge glacier, arrive in Lhasha check in the hotel. Free time to explore Lhasa and Jokham Temple Square.

Day 05: Lhasa Sightseeing

After having Breakfast then visit to Deprung Monastery, Jokham Monastery then exploring Barkhor Market and free time

Day 06: Lhasa Sightseeing

After having breakfast visit to Potala Palace then Sera Monastery visit. Free time for shopping packing up.

Day 07:Return Xegar via Xigatse

After having breakfast dive back to Xegar via Xigatse and overnight stay at Xegar.View the Mountains view again from La Lungla and Gyachula pass and more mountain view from Xegar.

Day 08:Xegar to Zagmu Boarder City

After breakfast drive again to border town Zhagmu via Nyalam. Doing some immigration formalities then catching car to drive back to Kathmandu.
